"That's not true at all," he says with a snort. "Esther, maybe, she's young enough not to understand much. But Ethan?" He shakes his head. "I hated it when father gifted me what was proper instead what I liked."
Of course, they discuss getting gifts for Geralt and the kids, yet they stop to look at the displays of the stores they like. Look at those cushions, aren't they lovely?
Those store windows are indeed pretty distracting. So many pretty and shiny things!
"Yennefer and I decorated the house we're living in now. Ciri helped a little. Geralt took over the garden and hated us all," he replies with clear amusement. "My suite in the university was decorated too, of course."
“You did?” she asks. “I figured the dark, medieval, witch theme of the house was mostly Yennefer.” Jaskier strikes her as the type of person to use more color in his decorating. “What’s your decor style?”
