Jaskier is looking at the finely carved horse figurines for adult shelves, but then he sees the adorable horse keychain and he knows what he has to do. Geralt's bike keys are rather empty, after all.
When Midge shows him the peacock, Jaskier grins and seriously considers buying it for himself. However, something else catches his eye and he tilts his head at Midge, a glint in his eye.
"For me? Or mayhaps for you?" He puts the peacock in her hand. "You could have this one, and I--" He picks a swan for himself. "--shall have this one. We could write each other's names on them."
He's glad that Midge thinks the keychain is perfect for Geralt; many people would've thought it ruins his tough look. Jaskier thinks having something that matches his hidden softie is better.
And of course, he's also glad to kiss her back, not caring about the looks the clerk gives them. This is why he loves her so much.
"I'll sign it in the room later. I think I packed a quill." Pens are very handy, but they ruin his penmanship. "A tiger, huh? Feisty like her mommy?" he asks while they pay for everything.
Midge has seen that softer side of Geralt, at least with his helping in the kitchen. Plus, it’s clear that he loves his friends and family. Now he’ll have a mini Roach.
Eh, it’s just a little kiss. The clerk can get over it.
“Oh yes,” she tells Jaskier. “Clever too. She’s figured out how to get out of her crib and her playpen.”
That makes him laugh. "She's an escape artist! Now we know who to call when we're in jail."
Now that gets them an even worse look. Jaskier just grins and waves at the clerk on their way out. When they walk by a small plant stand, Jaskier buys a red tropical flower and puts it behind Midge's ear.
"Oh! That's a great idea. Should we both get one? Since our clothes already match in color, we can make it a complete set." He then grins with a mischievous spark in his eyes. "For the ceremony, at least. Wait until you see what I got for the stage."
The mention of sequins makes him laugh. "Goodness, no! No sequins, I promise. Interesting things they are, though. Can they actually be used finely? Do you have a dress with sequins?"

His idea about the figures is adorable. “I love it. The elegant swan and the flashy peacock.” Leaning in, she presses a kiss to his mouth.
“I think a tiger for Esther,” Midge continues. “That’s fitting for her.”

They continue their stroll hand in hand down the boardwalk. Midge grins at Jaskier when he buys her the flower and tucks it behind her ear.
“Thank you, love. Do you want me to get you a flower for your lapel on the morning of the wedding?”
If she buys one now, it will be wilted by Sunday.

Midge raises an eyebrow at him. “Does it involve sequins?”
That wouldn’t surprise her.
