Jaskier's smile widens, clearly soft and content. Not only because it's a very sweet and cozy moment, but also because he loves hearing Midge embracing the arts like this.
"I hope so too. I can wait to see what you can do - I bet you can shine even brighter with the right bohemian guiding you."
Chuckling, he kisses the top of her head. "The fact that a few people in your life even had a vague idea of my existence at all already puts you ahead of at least half of my torrid affairs." He's always been a secret for married women and closeted men, so he's used to it. But he must admit - this feels much nicer. "I'm looking forward to your showing me off. I bet you're dying to make all your friends jealous."
"I'm the best bohemian," he replies with a cheeky grin, but the soft expression returns for the next question. "Am I the right one, Midge?" That's for her to decide.
Jaskier laughs at her description of him and happily kisses her back as he wonders how explicit she'll be. The mention of Geralt takes him by surprise, and he blinks a few times before he catches on.
"You mean that he knew that I love you? Yes, of course. The whole household knew; it wasn't a secret." A shrug. "It wouldn't have been a big deal if they didn't like giving me so much crap for it."
“You’re very bohemian,” she agrees. “And yes, I think you’re the right one.”
Right for her, for as long as he’ll have her.
“Did they?” Midge is amused to hear that. “Why did they tease you so much?”
Probably because he’s the sort who becomes infatuated with people, but doesn’t necessarily fall in love with them. Plus, Midge got him to commit to her. That’s a huge feat.
The sentiment is extremely sweet and he does appreciate it, so he kisses her again as thanks while his mind thinks only time will tell.
"Because they like making my life a living hell," he replies, and leaves it there. He's pretty sure that the teasing had his feelings for Geralt as a mocking background, and he doesn't want to go down that road. "Did Susie ever say anything?"
That’s a relatively short answer and abrupt change of topic for him, though Midge doesn’t call it out.
“She’s mentioned it, asked without seeming like she’s interested if we were still fucking.” Midge eats an ice cream covered strawberry. “She thinks you’re going to distract me too much.”
"Well, that's not fair," he responds with an exaggerated pout. "I'm pretty sure you're the one that keeps distracting me. I was nothing but an innocente song writer before I met you."

It’s hard to completely embrace that lifestyle, but only time will tell how she feels about it the longer she works as a performer.
“Oh yes. I can’t wait to show off the handsome, vibrant man that I managed to bag.” And he’s a viscount. Midge gives his mouth a soft kiss.
“Geralt knew it was different with me, didn’t he?”
